1065 — The Top-Form Reducer Cannot Define the Localization Boundary Commutator

Numbering repair (2026-08-19): relocated from filename 948 and conflicting heading 666 under allocator claim seqclaim-02ea064fb3f727fe32ba6855. The evidential content and scope are unchanged.

Hard-to-vary claim

The finite product-pole reducer used in Entries 661--663, 1068, and 1064 does not contain enough homological data to compute the localization boundary ∂W\partial_W, a boundary homotopy, or its kinematic commutator. Doing so from its quotient pivots would be a type error.

What the reducer actually retains

The presentation has one ambient vector space of labelled two-forms. It generates exact two-form rows from polynomial vector-field divergences and adds localization-transition rows. These rows are immediately reduced to an unlabelled pivot span.

This is sufficient for the finite top-degree quotient calculations:

It does not retain:

  1. a separate degree-one generator module;
  2. the differential matrix from those generators to two-forms with row provenance;
  3. normalized wall complexes C∙(Wiν)(−1)C^\bullet(W_i^\nu)(-1);
  4. oriented Poincaré-residue maps from bulk forms to wall forms;
  5. the pair-intersection Čech differential;
  6. chain homotopies witnessing compatibility of parameter differentiation with residue.

Why the proper-face quotient is not the wall boundary complex

Setting to zero columns that omit at least one denominator constructs a useful top-support quotient. But a missing-denominator column is a deletion sector, whereas the localization boundary lies in a degree-shifted residue complex on the wall:

∂W:H2(SE∖W)⟶H1(W)(−1).\partial_W:H^2(S_E\setminus W)\longrightarrow H^1(W)(-1).

These objects are related by a residue triangle, not by identifying proper-face top forms with wall one-forms. Consequently Entry 1064's proposed ``kinematic commutator of the source boundary homotopy'' cannot be evaluated inside the current matrix.

Correction to scope

The rank-nineteen and rank-twenty-one results remain valid as finite top-support quotient invariants. Entry 1068's and Entry 1064's rank-three first-jet tests remain valid within those induced top-form quotients. They do not determine how the canonical wall cocycle ρphys\rho_{\rm phys} changes the connection through the full localization triangle.

Thus the apparent next step is not a missing matrix operation. It requires enlarging the typed complex.

Minimal legitimate next complex

Construct the truncated residue--Čech bicomplex

Cbulk2→Res⁡⨁iC1(Wiν)(−1)→dCech⨁i<jC0(Wij)(−2),C^2_{\rm bulk} \xrightarrow{\operatorname{Res}} \bigoplus_i C^1(W_i^\nu)(-1) \xrightarrow{d_{\rm Cech}} \bigoplus_{i<j}C^0(W_{ij})(-2),

together with the bulk exact map

Cbulk1→d∇Cbulk2.C^1_{\rm bulk}\xrightarrow{d_\nabla}C^2_{\rm bulk}.

Every row must retain its generator label. Parameter differentiation must be implemented on all four terms, and the squares with residue and Čech differentials must be checked before passing to quotient coordinates.

Entry 648 already supplies the target cocycle and its closedness test. The new computation must reproduce

Res⁡(Ωphys)=ρphys\operatorname{Res}(\Omega_{\rm phys})=\rho_{\rm phys}

inside this bicomplex. Only then is a commutator or secondary homotopy well-typed.
