718 — The Lower Second-Normal Challenge Does Not Reopen the Apparent-Quartic Verdict

Why the verdict was retested

Entry 212 classifies Q\mathcal Q as apparent cyclic/master-presentation alphabet data at generic nonsoft homogeneous kinematics. Entry 698 later identified genuinely new evidence not included in the earlier first-jet frontier: the generic lower algebraic letters begin in the labelled second-normal module

N2=⟨ν1ν2,ν1ν3,ν2ν3⟩.N_2=\langle\nu_1\nu_2,\nu_1\nu_3,\nu_2\nu_3\rangle.

Because first normal order cannot detect this module, it was legitimate to reopen Entry 212's verdict under one narrow hostile hypothesis:

a derived lower second-normal comparison might generate generic Q\mathcal Q-support absent from the ordinary homogeneous calculation.

Exhausted route

Entries 699--717 now close that hypothesis source by source:

  1. ordinary specialization and localization commute on labelled I2/I3I^2/I^3; the missing operation can only occur after pushforward;
  2. the homogeneous lower deletion cube localizes the 34→1534\to15 loss as 1313 singleton, 55 pair, and 11 triple grades;
  3. the five pair occurrences map to N2N_2 with two symbol relations;
  4. one relation lifts strictly, while the signed relation has a nonsquare Kummer obstruction;
  5. the adjacent disappearing triple mixes diagonal and square-free normal directions but its oriented boundary does not lift the signed relation;
  6. the pair--triple systems share one signed-energy Kummer cover;
  7. the complete intrinsic Kummer/incidence packet is Q\mathcal Q-free;
  8. its horizontal comparison has odd deck character, whereas the polynomial symbol relation is even;
  9. the positive physical chain has no boundary on the lower support and does not activate either character.

Updated verdict

the lower second-normal module does not generate an intrinsic or physical home for Q.\boxed{ \text{the lower second-normal module does not generate an intrinsic or physical home for }\mathcal Q.}

Thus the hostile reopening fails and Entry 212 survives with stronger scope: it now includes the complete generic nonsoft lower pair--triple second-normal mechanism frozen above.

This does not extend the theorem to soft intersections, endpoint degenerations, or arbitrary nonhomogeneous multi-external-leg systems.

Architectural update

The failed reopening strengthens H2 rather than H1:

shared marked carrier and support calculus+sector-specific Kummer/Gauss–Manin coefficients.\boxed{ \text{shared marked carrier and support calculus} +\text{sector-specific Kummer/Gauss--Manin coefficients}.}

The additional lower complexity lives entirely in coefficient objects over the existing carrier. It introduces no cosmology-specific incidence stratum.

Evidence

New frontier

Retire “find the home of Q\mathcal Q” as the generic homogeneous objective. The substantive unresolved problem is now the full nonsplit marked relative coefficient system itself:

0⟶Vell(−1)⟶V△⟶T⟶0,0\longrightarrow\mathbb V_{\rm ell}(-1) \longrightarrow\mathbb V_\triangle \longrightarrow\mathcal T\longrightarrow0,

including its physical relative-chain realization, integral lattice, and nearby-cycle/Rees extension data. Future tests should classify this extension without using Q\mathcal Q as a presumed support divisor.
