Product-exponent theorem

Let a finite group (H) act on a finite abelian group (K), let (M\subseteq\operatorname{Aut}(K)) be the visible action image, and form

K⋊H⟶H.K\rtimes H\longrightarrow H.

The (n)-th power correspondence commutes with every coefficient fiber-sum and basis-level fiber-lift square if and only if

gcd⁡ ⁣(n,exp⁡(K)exp⁡(M))=1.\boxed{\gcd\!\left(n,\exp(K)\exp(M)\right)=1.}

For each prime (p\mid |K|), the twisted norm may be reduced on the Frattini quotient (K_p/pK_p). An endomorphism of a finite abelian (p)-group is invertible exactly when this reduction is invertible. Ledger 1269 then applies to the visible action on each quotient. The identity fiber detects primes in (exp K), while nontrivial visible monodromy detects the remaining primes in (exp M).

This supersedes Ledger 1269's elementary-abelian-kernel restriction.

Exact non-field controls

The theorem was exhausted through index 24 for

C4⋊C2,C9⋊C2,(C4)2⋊C3.C_4\rtimes C_2, \qquad C_9\rtimes C_2, \qquad (C_4)^2\rtimes C_3.

The first two use inversion; the third uses the lifted order-three matrix (\left(\begin{smallmatrix}0&-1\1&-1\end{smallmatrix}\right)). Every fiber agrees with the product-exponent prediction.

Scope

The kernel is finite abelian, but the total group may be nonabelian. The power correspondence is basis-linear and need not be a ring Adams operation. No physical relative-chain pushforward is supplied.
