1367 — The Primitive Mobius Half-Line Has the Wrong Weyl Law

Epistemic-graph event: 1395.

Grant the candidate primitive Möbius carrier a circumference L and impose its available holonomy on logarithmic dilation:

f(y+L)=ηf(y),η=±1.f(y+L)=\eta f(y),\qquad \eta=\pm1.

The self-adjoint operator -i d/dy then has spectrum

2πnLquad(η=1),(2n+1)πLquad(η=−1),\frac{2\pi n}{L}quad(\eta=1), \qquad \frac{(2n+1)\pi}{L}quad(\eta=-1),

and counting law

ND(T)=L2πT+O(1).N_D(T)=\frac{L}{2\pi}T+O(1).

By contrast, the zeta-zero ordinates obey

Nζ(T)=T2πlog⁡T2π−T2π+O(log⁡T).N_\zeta(T)=\frac{T}{2\pi}\log\frac{T}{2\pi} -\frac{T}{2\pi}+O(\log T).

Thus no length and neither source-available holonomy can make this boundary quotient reproduce the zeros. The mismatch is asymptotic, not a tunable normalization error.

Scope: this falsifies the direct compact-circle realization of the primitive half-line. It does not exclude an infinite or energy-dependent source-derived boundary system.

Durable verification:
