1392 — Every Prime Mode Adds a Negative Pick Direction

Epistemic-graph event: 1434.

For Im⁡z>1/2\operatorname{Im}z>1/2, the functional equation puts s=1/2−izs=1/2-iz in the Euler half-plane and gives the finite-cutoff prime Weyl term

MC(z)=−i∑n∈CΛ(n)n−1/2eizlog⁡n.M_C(z)= -i\sum_{n\in C}\Lambda(n)n^{-1/2}e^{iz\log n}.

Adding one mode of weight a>0a>0 and length L>0L>0 changes the diagonal Pick kernel at z=iyz=iy by

δK(iy,iy)=−ae−yLy<0.\delta K(iy,iy) =-\frac{ae^{-yL}}{y}<0.

Therefore prime cutoff refinement cannot be realized by adjoining positive Hilbert-space boundary features. Each prime-power mode adds a negative direction to the indefinite Pick preshape.

Any positive boundary must arise only after a global, cutoff-compatible gamma–prime quotient. Holding the archimedean channel fixed while adding positive prime fibers is exactly falsified.

Scope: monotone positive prime-feature refinement is ruled out; an indefinite system with a source-derived positive completed quotient remains possible.
