1781 — The Literal Five-Site Positive Chain Misses the Six New Pinches

Question

Entries 1777–1780 establish six source-admitted, saturated, generically simple disjoint-cut Landau divisors on the cyclic five-site slice. Do their two marked walls meet the literal positive Bunch–Davies integration chamber?

Frozen source inequalities

For every one of the six mixed pairs, the two source denominators have the form

qe=5t+2ye,qA=mt+yi+yj,m∈{1,2,3}.q_e=5t+2y_e, \qquad q_A=mt+y_i+y_j, \qquad m\in\{1,2,3\}.

On the literal positive chamber,

t>0,ye>0for every internal edge e.t>0, \qquad y_e>0 \quad\text{for every internal edge }e.

Therefore

qe>0,qA>0.q_e>0, \qquad q_A>0.

Neither marked wall intersects the chamber, and their simultaneous Landau pinch cannot occur on its closure except at already excluded zero-energy boundary strata.

Result

The literal positive Bunch–Davies chain activates none of the six new five-site anomalous-threshold divisors.\boxed{ \text{The literal positive Bunch–Davies chain activates none of the six new five-site anomalous-threshold divisors.} }

This does not remove the divisors from the analytically continued source period. It types their remaining physical question correctly: activation, if any, must come from continuation of the source relative cycle and its Picard–Lefschetz/nearby-cycle data, not from ordinary intersection with the positive chamber.

Thus the present classification is:

No contour hierarchy or sheet is chosen.
