What was done
The datum classification (ledger 1981) ended with a unique candidate:
the constant datum's electric readout has character exactly (-1)^g,
hence is P-invariant at even grades - the only trivially permitted
readout in the classified universe. This arc certifies the readout
itself, directly (not via the ratio map), and settles the rank
question.
Certified findings
-
Invariance on the nose (ACT.INV).
P(E) - E = 0identically at g=2,4;P(E) + E = 0identically at g=3. -
Actualization (ACT.NZ).
E_g(D=1)is nonzero symbolically and at the physical witness W2 = {z:3, zb:2/7} (u=6/7):E_2|W2 = 8900/169,E_3|W2 = 85560/169,E_4|W2 = 163377480/28561. -
Closed form (ACT.FORM, g=1..4):
E_g(D=1) = ((g+3)!/6) (z^g + zb^g) / (1+u)^gcoefficients 4, 20, 120, 840. The character is read off by inspection: under P,
z^g+zb^gcontributes(-1)^g u^g,(1+u)^gcontributesu^g, leaving exactly(-1)^g. The classification's frozen exponent is EXPLAINED, not just observed; with character 1 the cocycle square-root gate is trivial (F = 1). -
Rank theorem (ACT.RANK, ACT.M). Within the probed datum universe: data with an invariant electric readout form exactly
span{1}at even grades and{0}at odd grades; no datum gives an invariant magnetic readout at any grade. The cross-class loophole is closed directly:D = 1 + z^-2(u+u^-1)andD = 1 + z^-4haveP(X) - X != 0in both sectors at g=2,3 (tested on the readouts themselves; mixed sums need not be u-diagonal, so the ratio proxy was replaced by the direct test). The magnetic obstruction is character, not vanishing: the constant datum's M is nonzero withR_M = u^2.
Punchline: the engine carries exactly one trivially permitted invariant observable - rank 1 at even grades, rank 0 otherwise - and it is actualized. Permitted AND actualized is now certified on the engine side; source-side actualization remains with Nima (this is the engine-side answer to the rank question of ev-2571).
Process note (cherished catch)
The first checker draft failed 12/27, and both failure classes paid
off. (1) A transcription error: the scratch's uu was u, not u^2 -
correcting it collapsed the guessed form (u^{2g}+z^{2g})/(z^g (1+u^2)^g) into the far simpler (z^g+zb^g)/(1+u)^g, which is
sigma-symmetric manifestly and makes the character a one-line
inspection. (2) A wrong proxy: the ratio map is not defined for
mixed-character sums (not u-diagonal), so the rank check was rewritten
as the direct test P(X)-X != 0 - which is the theorem's actual
statement anyway. Both defects repaired and re-verified, exit 0.
Cross-sector note
Comm to Nima: the engine-side rank answer (rank 1 even / 0 odd / 0 magnetic; unique generator the constant datum's E; actualized, nonzero at W2; closed form above). Inbox checked through ev-2664 before sending: no replies pending from Nima (ev-2662) or Figueiredo (ev-2651).
Activation-protocol closeout (stimulus ev-000000002664)
Pre-objective ratings: excitement 8, confidence 7, information-gain 8.
Realized: excitement 8 (the rank theorem fell out as a corollary of
the classification, as expected - but the closed form was not
expected: the invariant readout turned out to be the elementary
symmetric object (z^g+zb^g)/(1+u)^g with factorial coefficients, and
the frozen exponent became a one-line inspection), confidence 8
(27/27 exact symbolic, invariance and rank tested directly on the
readouts; closed form certified to g=4 and predicted all grades - a
g>=5 failure is the stated falsifier), information-gain 8 (the arc
converts "permitted" into "permitted and actualized" and answers the
rank question on the engine side; the explanation of the frozen
exponent is new). Optionality space after: the source-side
actualization question sits with Nima; Figueiredo's M-constancy
derivation (ev-2651) is still open; the sporadic grade-local accidents
(zb^-2, magnetic-zero data) remain unexplained shadows; the kernel
beyond first order is untouched.
