2067 - The Transverse Magnetic Response Has a Hypergeometric Character

The scalar response repairing the even magnetic chart satisfies, through every tested grade,

$$\frac{\tau_g}{\tau_{g-2}} = \frac{4g(g+3)(g+4)(2g+1)(2g+3)(g^2-g-26)} {(g-2)(g+6)(g+7)(g^2-5g-20)}.$$

Nineteen exact ratios through (g=40) determine the character; independently computed grades (42,44,46) all satisfy it. Since both exceptional quadratics have nonsquare discriminant (105), the multiplier has no zero or pole at any even integral (g\ge4). With ( au_2=320/3), the recurrence would prove all-grade transverse nonvanishing.
