2071 — Double-Slit Distinguishability Requires Ordered Closure

The frozen QND instrument generates the record-difference operator Δ\Delta, with

Δ2=1625I.\Delta^2=\frac{16}{25}I.

Its unordered algebra cannot distinguish Δ\Delta from −Δ-\Delta. Physical distinguishability requires the positive operator norm,

D=∥Δ∥=45.D=\|\Delta\|=\frac45.

Hence the double-slit readout is generated only by the complete ordered C∗C^*-coefficient structure: star pairing generates intensity, while the positive cone and norm generate distinguishability.

The sectoral DPC test passes because this structure was frozen with the QND instrument before evaluating the readout. The Carrier-level test remains open: the shared Carrier has not yet generated the QND interaction or its ordered coefficient lens.

Verification: dependency-free exact checker, 6/6 gates.
