2380 — Pointwise Rank-26 A-Word Closure Is Not Gauss--Manin Closure
Question
Does the previously computed rank-twenty-six closure under the three connection matrices define a connection-stable cosmological observer module?
Sequence claim: seqclaim-7ce7eefc39bd812a24aa4048.
Typing distinction
At a fixed kinematic point, the earlier closure repeatedly applied the matrices (A_x,A_y,A_z) to numerical vectors. This computes the algebraic (A)-word span
A parameter-dependent primitive word (v(x)) is instead acted on by the true Gauss--Manin operator
The derivative of the word coefficients is absent from pointwise matrix closure. Equality of these two constructions therefore required a separate test.
Source-derived normal-slice basis
A new breadth-first packet of twenty-six unreduced source words was selected at
The packet has rank twenty-six both at (E_T=2) and at the independent kinematic point ((3,5,-7)). Independently, the complete pointwise (A)-word closure at the reference point has rank twenty-six.
For every primitive word, dual-number arithmetic differentiates its complete parameter-dependent raw representative. The resulting exact section
was reduced modulo the same complete ambient-twelve Laurent relations and then solved against the same twenty-six primitive words.
Result
At each of
exactly twenty-five of the twenty-six covariant derivatives have nonzero residuals outside the primitive plane:
Thus
The one solved row is the literal source direction. The failure begins when parameter-dependent connection words are treated as though their coefficients were constant.
Consequence
The rank-twenty-six number remains a valid static algebraic census at the tested reference point. It is not yet the rank of a derived local system, nearby-cycle object, or physical observer complex. In particular, the total-energy rank-three deficit of Entry 2379 cannot be repaired by shearing this plane: the generic plane itself has not passed the connection-submodule typing gate.
This is a correction of architecture, not evidence for new Carrier support. The missing datum is a true differential closure generated by (d+A), with all derivatives of source coefficients and connection words retained.
Classification
- frozen Carrier and marked incidence structure: unchanged;
- rank-twenty-six (A)-word span: static algebraic packet;
- Gauss--Manin submodule: not established by that packet;
- total-energy rank-three census: unauthorized as coefficient cohomology;
- physical faithfulness theorem: still open;
- new Carrier datum: unsupported.

Next falsifier
Generate the differential closure from the literal source by true covariant jets, retaining (\partial A)-terms recursively. Compute its generic ranks at successive jet depths and ambient cutoffs. A stabilized finite rank licenses a connection module and the subsequent physical-port audit. Cutoff- or depth-growing rank instead falsifies the proposed finite observer closure in this Laurent presentation.
