2565 — The Common Theta Trace Leaves One Arithmetic Incidence Torsor

Grothendieck's source theorem identifies one common endpoint row

ev⁡0GX=τX=ev⁡0HX.\operatorname{ev}_0G_X=\tau_X=\operatorname{ev}_0H_X.

Assume canonical labelled inclusion satisfies

τYVX,Y=τX,\tau_YV_{X,Y}=\tau_X,

the row is nonzero, and the anomaly-line transition UX,YU_{X,Y} is invertible. Then the remaining arithmetic coherence equation reduces exactly to

λY=UX,YλX.\lambda_Y=U_{X,Y}\lambda_X.

Every initial nonzero incidence therefore extends uniquely through all later cutoffs, and path independence follows from the Tate cocycle. Before choosing the initial reference, coherent incidence families form a C×\mathbb C^\times-torsor, or a U(1)U(1)-torsor after unit-norm framing on the critical seam.

Because every nonzero λX\lambda_X is an isomorphism of lines,

ker⁡(λXτX)=ker⁡τX.\ker(\lambda_X\tau_X)=\ker\tau_X.

Finite arithmetic aggregation adds no new kernel. Remaining invisibility can occur only in the common trace, through completion escape, or through scalar detector orthogonality.

Scope

This is a finite-cutoff algebraic theorem conditional on labelled naturality and a nonzero common trace. It does not identify the source authority for the initial incidence reference, prove a uniform lower bound for τX\tau_X, or establish detector transversality.
