2705 — Half-Density Is the Relative Haar Interface but Not a Zero-Confinement Law

The map

(Jf)(x)=x1/2f(x)(Jf)(x)=x^{1/2}f(x)

is the forced unitary identification of (L^2(dx)) with (L^2(dx/x)). It transports additive unitary dilation into ordinary multiplicative translation. The complete Mellin pairing then obeys

M(Daf)(s)=a1/2−sMf(s).\mathcal M(D_af)(s)=a^{1/2-s}\mathcal M f(s).

Thus the half-offset survives simultaneous transport as a relative source--readout cocycle. Its modulus is one exactly on (\Re s=1/2), deriving the critical seam without reference to zeros.

In logarithmic coordinates, however, the seam Mellin value is one Fourier matrix coefficient of the half-density state. It may vanish by orthogonality while the state remains nonzero. The relative Haar interface therefore explains the critical offset and unitary seam, but it has no independent zero-confinement force.
