2712 — Evans Forcing Residual Is the Oscillatory Separation Transform

For (z=a+it), the doubled forcing residual of the boundary-control Evans system is

Rf(z)=−4∫0∞sinh⁡(ar)cos⁡(tr) dμf(r),R_f(z) =-4\int_0^\infty\sinh(ar)\cos(tr)\,d\mu_f(r),

where

dμf(r)=(∫0∞f(q)f(q+r) dq)drd\mu_f(r) =\left(\int_0^\infty f(q)f(q+r)\,dq\right)dr

is the positive source-separation measure. The hyperbolic factor has the correct half-plane orientation, but the cosine is oscillatory and has no sign for a generic positive measure.

Thus the Evans, curvature, and mixed-sheet Green lanes are three presentations of the same invariant. Their agreement is one piece of evidence. The remaining theorem must use modular structure special to the completed theta separation measure; a positive two-atom measure is already a hostile falsifier to any generic positivity argument.
