2721 — History Adjoint Is Causal Reflection, Not One Fourier Quarter-Turn

For the bilateral full-history synthesis

(H+c)(t)=∫0∞Φ(r)c(t+r) dr,(H_+c)(t)=\int_0^\infty\Phi(r)c(t+r)\,dr,

one Fourier transform diagonalizes (H_+). It does not produce its adjoint. Causal reflection satisfies

RH+R=H+∗,R=F2.RH_+R=H_+^*, \qquad R=\mathcal F^2.

After half-line compression this is a genuine anti-diagonal, variance-reversing adjoint pairing between the two valuation sectors. The full history ports have matching infinite rank, avoiding the rank-one reciprocal-doubling obstruction.
