2727 — Normalization-Unit Winding Is the C2 Sheet Cocycle
On an annular parameter domain, a holomorphic unit carries integer winding. Its parity is exactly the obstruction to a global square-root sheet, and it adds under composition. Vacuum normalization cannot determine this winding; it selects one of two root signs only after evenness has established that a global square root exists.
