2826 — Macroscopic Theta Band Block Reduces to Terminal Endpoint Current

When the band count grows so that R=2mLR=2mL stays fixed, aligned oscillatory integration gives

IR(a,L)=2Lπ[Ja′(R)−aRWa(R)]+OR(L2).I_R(a,L) = \frac{2L}{\pi} \left[J_a'(R)-aR W_a(R)\right]+O_R(L^2).

Thus the growing block is controlled by a terminal endpoint current. For small positive aa, this current remains negative throughout a nonzero interval of macroscopic widths by the strict Hardy germ. A viable band block must cross a source coherence length or extend to infinity.
