2879 — Positive Staircase Curvature Forces a Quarter-Density Lift

The staircase current has amplitude weight p−k/2p^{-k/2}. A positive commutator squares transport amplitudes, so native half-density transport gives p−kp^{-k} and already misses the p2p^2 coefficient. Requiring a multiplicative weighted shift p−αTpp^{-\alpha}T_p to reproduce every depth forces α=1/4\alpha=1/4. Thus any positive operator realization needs a source-derived quarter-density or half-form lift. Its existence remains unproved; inserting it by hand would be a fitted metric.
