Scalar Theta Completion Sees Boundary Polarization Only Through Its Square

With z=s−1/2z=s-1/2, the reciprocal theta tail is

K(z)=4∫0∞ψ(e2u)eu/2cosh⁡(zu) du,K(z) = 4\int_0^\infty \psi(e^{2u})e^{u/2}\cosh(zu)\,du,

and the completed scalar is

ξ(12+z)=12+12(z2−14)K(z).\xi\left(\frac12+z\right) = \frac12+ \frac12\left(z^2-\frac14\right)K(z).

Thus scalar completion sees the antisymmetric boundary coordinate only through reciprocal-even combinations and cannot distinguish zz from −z-z. Its canonical missing orientation port is

K′(z)=4∫0∞uψ(e2u)eu/2sinh⁡(zu) du.K'(z) = 4\int_0^\infty u\psi(e^{2u})e^{u/2}\sinh(zu)\,du.

The smallest relational lift is the even--odd pair (K,K′)(K,K'). A scalar zero constrains only the even channel, so zero confinement requires a source law coupling the odd channel before scalar compression.
