3149 — The Exterior Zeta Boundary Module Is the Jet Pullback of the Todd Normalization

Let

$$\tau(t)=\frac{t}{e^t-1}, \qquad L(t)=\frac{d}{dt}\log\tau(t).$$

Then

$$L(t)=\frac1t-\frac1{1-e^{-t}}, \qquad L^{(n)}(0)=\zeta(-n).$$

Hence the exterior Hankel packet $\zeta(-(i+j))$ is the jet prolongation of one multiplicative Euler–Maclaurin/Todd normalization germ.

Scope

The next pullback is from the signed additive boundary kernel to this multiplicative formal germ before logarithmic differentiation. The identity does not yet construct the reciprocal multiplicative cocycle or prove its off-seam invertibility.
