3151 — Reciprocal Sewing Uniquely Centers the Todd Germ by a Half-Density

For τ(t)=t/(et−1)\tau(t)=t/(e^t-1), reciprocal reflection gives

τ(−t)=etτ(t).\tau(-t)=e^t\tau(t).

The unique exponential normalization eatτ(t)e^{at}\tau(t) invariant under reflection has a=1/2a=1/2. It is

et/2τ(t)=t2sinh⁡(t/2).e^{t/2}\tau(t)=\frac{t}{2\sinh(t/2)}.

This centered germ is even. Its logarithmic tangent is L(t)+1/2L(t)+1/2, so the ζ(0)=−1/2\zeta(0)=-1/2 boundary anomaly cancels and the remaining jet tower is odd.

Scope

This is a source-local half-density mechanism. The Mellin naturality square transporting it to the global spectral coordinate s−1/2s-1/2 remains to be derived.
