3162 — Reciprocal Euler Transport Has a Unit Current Anomaly Uniquely Centered at One Half

For E(r)=−log⁡(1−r)E(r)=-\log(1-r), reciprocal continuation gives

E(r−1)=E(r)+log⁡r−iπ.E(r^{-1})=E(r)+\log r-i\pi.

Its oriented logarithmic current J=rDrEJ=rD_rE satisfies

−J(r−1)=J(r)+1.-J(r^{-1})=J(r)+1.

Consequently, C=J+1/2C=J+1/2 is the unique affine normalization satisfying −C(r−1)=C(r)-C(r^{-1})=C(r).

Scope

The unit defect is a primitive boundary current, while −iπ-i\pi is seam monodromy. Compatibility with the labelled theta and Mellin half-density constructions remains to be proved.
