3175 — Three Positive Half-Line Atoms Admit Exact Off-Seam Common Zeros
For positive weights (1,3,1) at (0,d,2d), the half-line transform is
The polynomial (P(y)=1+3y+y^2) is reciprocal. Its two roots
are negative, reciprocal, and off the unit circle. They therefore give exact common zeros of (H_+(z)) and (H_+(-z)) with nonzero opposite real parts.
Scope
Positivity, even reflection, and retention of both half-line quadratures do not exclude off-seam common zeros. A theta-specific modular, heat, or labelled transport law must reject this hostile packet before its zeros are inspected.
