3305 — Mixed Flatness Canonically Produces the Signed-Energy Fallback Observer

Question

Entry 3299 finds a pointwise conormal observer

τ1=(0,−14,0)\tau_1=\left(0,-\frac14,0\right)

that detects the ordinary supported kernel at the corner u=v=0u=v=0. The unresolved typing question was whether this row depended on the chosen order of total-energy and signed-energy specialization.

This entry computes the exact mixed-flatness comparison in the complete source-derived rank-three quotient connection.

Connection convention

Let Au,AvA_u,A_v be the matrices in marked-wall-quotient-connection.json, with curvature convention

Fuv=∂uAv−partialvAu+[Au,Av].F_{uv} = \partial_uA_v-partial_vA_u+[A_u,A_v].

The exact characteristic-zero matrices satisfy Fuv=0F_{uv}=0.

Set

R(v)=Res⁡u=0Au,S(v)=Av∣u=0.R(v)=\operatorname{Res}_{u=0}A_u, \qquad S(v)=A_v|_{u=0}.

The coefficient of u−1u^{-1} in flatness is

∂vR=[R,S].\partial_vR=[R,S].

This is the required Beck--Chevalley identity on the total-energy residue object.

Exact corner calculation

At v=0v=0,

R0=(−100−12001200),S0=(1200−141200012).R_0= \begin{pmatrix} -1&0&0\\ -\frac12&0&0\\ \frac12&0&0 \end{pmatrix}, \qquad S_0= \begin{pmatrix} \frac12&0&0\\ -\frac14&\frac12&0\\ 0&0&\frac12 \end{pmatrix}.

For the second-Rees observer μ=(1,0,0)\mu=(1,0,0), the two ordered routes are

μS0TR0T=(−12,−14,14),\mu S_0^TR_0^T = \left(-\frac12,-\frac14,\frac14\right),

and

μR0TS0T=(−12,0,14).\mu R_0^TS_0^T = \left(-\frac12,0,\frac14\right).

Their commutator is

μ(S0TR0T−R0TS0T)=(0,−14,0).\mu(S_0^TR_0^T-R_0^TS_0^T) = \left(0,-\frac14,0\right).

Direct differentiation gives exactly the same row:

μ∂vRT∣v=0=(0,−14,0).\left.\mu\partial_vR^T\right|_{v=0} = \left(0,-\frac14,0\right).

Therefore the Beck--Chevalley defect is zero after retaining the canonical mixed-flatness commutator.

Meaning

The two specialization orders do not commute strictly as raw routes. Their noncommutativity is the fallback observer itself:

routev∘u−routeu∘v=τ1.\text{route}_{v\circ u}-\text{route}_{u\circ v} =\tau_1.

Since

τ1(qwall1+qwall2)=−14,\tau_1(q_{\rm wall1}+q_{\rm wall2})=-\frac14,

the class invisible to ordinary supported observation is precisely measured by the coherence between the two legal transport orders.

Thus Entry 3299's conormal row is not a coordinate derivative fitted after rank loss. It is the source-derived second-fundamental-form component of the flat quotient connection.

Classification

Datum Classification
two ordered routes existing total/signed transport
route commutator canonical conormal observer
mixed curvature zero
extra homotopy cell unnecessary at this connection grade
new carrier datum none

The correct statement is not that nearby specialization is strictly commutative. It is that its controlled failure is already represented by the source connection and restores faithfulness.

Scope

This theorem is exact for the source-derived rank-three conductor quotient. It does not by itself prove that the rank-twelve extension block or physical relative cycle respects the same comparison. Those require separate intertwining tests.

Next falsifier

Lift the identity through the fixed final four-master extension block. Test whether the extension cocycle maps the quotient commutator to the corresponding e6e_6 conormal grade. A nonzero defect would localize the remaining coherence obstruction in the sector-specific coefficient extension; zero would complete the algebraic 3+1 tower before physical pairing.
