3367 — Nondecoupling Preserves the Portal Ratio but Not Its Size

Claim

Exact elimination of a heavy gauge-breaking scalar multiplies the conditional WP746 moment-map square by

ϵ=msoft2g2M2+msoft2.\epsilon =\frac{m_{\mathrm{soft}}^2} {g^2M^2+m_{\mathrm{soft}}^2}.

Consequently,

gn=ϵg23,gm=−ϵg26,gngm=−2.g_n=\epsilon\frac{g^2}{3}, \qquad g_m=-\epsilon\frac{g^2}{6}, \qquad \frac{g_n}{g_m}=-2.

Every finite positive (epsilon) preserves the sign ratio and strict radial margin. The supersymmetric limit has (epsilon=0) and erases the portal, while every value in ((0,1)) is generated by a continuous soft-to-vector mass ratio.

Classification

Nondecoupling matching is a threshold sign/ratio rigidifier. It is neither a threshold-survival selector nor a magnitude selector.

Scope

This is the common tree-level heavy-vector elimination map. Nonuniversal breaking masses, kinetic mixing, loops, widths, and detector response may add further fibers.
