3372 — A Common Spurion Cancels the Clock but Not the Coefficient Ray

Claim

Suppose one positive source deformation generates both masses in the nondecoupling threshold:

MV2=ag∗2v2,msoft2=bg∗2v2,a,b>0.M_V^2=a g_*^2v^2, \qquad m_{\mathrm{soft}}^2=b g_*^2v^2, \qquad a,b>0.

Then

ϵ=ba+b,Δ=g∗2b2(a+b)>0.\epsilon=\frac{b}{a+b}, \qquad \Delta=\frac{g_*^2b}{2(a+b)}>0.

The common dimensionful clock (v) cancels from the portal magnitude. This evades the independent-amplitude obstruction of WP748 conditional on the correlated source relation.

Exact residual

The relation does not select the coefficient ray. With the same (g_) and (v), the packets ((a,b)=(1,1)) and ((a,b)=(1,3)) give portal contrasts (g_^2/4) and (3g_^2/8), respectively. Their exact residual is (g_^2/8).

Threshold support also retains the clock through (E^2<a g_*^2v^2). No calibrated physical16 instrument follows from the algebraic cancellation.

Classification

The common-spurion relation is a conditional magnitude selector and common-clock canceller. It is not yet a Deutschian source explanation because the coefficient packet can vary without changing the mechanism. A complete source must derive the ordered embedding, unique positive ray (a:b), fixed coupling and basin, threshold spectrum, and calibrated readout from one anomaly-free construction.
