3391 — Fixed Inflow Is Blind on the Anomaly-Neutral Localization Kernel

Claim

Fixing a five-dimensional Chern–Simons inflow level does not select bulk-versus-boundary localization along anomaly-neutral vectorlike matter. For one vectorlike (+1,−1)(+1,-1) pair, both common-boundary placement and a two-hypermultiplet bulk realization have

(A0,Aπ)=(0,0),k=0,(A_0,A_\pi)=(0,0), \qquad k=0,

while their bulk hypermultiplet counts differ by two.

For the WP738 vectorlike mediator packet, the anomaly-neutral relocation adds 48 bulk hypermultiplet degrees. With the link already in the bulk, this changes

κ:13⟼−35\kappa:13\longmapsto -35

without changing the anomaly vector or fixed inflow class.

Classification

Anomaly cancellation is neither selector nor rigidifier on its neutral localization kernel. It cannot provide the hard-to-vary explanation for the radiative portal sign. The next source principle must be independently sensitive to anomaly-neutral matter placement.

This entry also records the corrected WP754 orbifold count. One 5D hypermultiplet supplies one chiral zero mode, so every 4D vectorlike zero-mode pair requires two hypers. The corrected WP754 indices are −19-19 for the portal-operand bulk lift and −67-67 for the full mediator completion; the previous −7-7 and −31-31 values are superseded.
