3393 — The Domain Wall Selects Localization but Leaves the Portal Magnitude Continuous

Claim

For opposite kink-mass signs on an interval, the normalized zero-mode boundary densities satisfy

D+(x)D−(x)=e2x,D+(x)−D−(x)=2x,x=ML>0.\frac{D_+(x)}{D_-(x)}=e^{2x}, \qquad D_+(x)-D_-(x)=2x, \qquad x=ML>0.

The domain-wall Dirac operator therefore detects anomaly-neutral matter placement and conditionally selects a localization side. Its topological index is nevertheless constant throughout x>0x>0. The hostile pair x=1/2x=1/2 and x=3/2x=3/2 has the same chirality but contrasts 11 and 33.

Classification

The kink is a conditional localization selector and a boundary-presentation rigidifier, but not a numerical portal selector. Wall orientation and labelled kink-charge assignments control the sign; the Yukawa coupling, wall scale, and interval length leave a continuous magnitude fiber. RG transport, finite-width and Kaluza–Klein thresholds, physical16 descent, and a calibrated instrument remain open.
