3767 — Generic Rational Cosets Form an Exact Four-Port Fourier Orbit

For shifted support and character-weighted combs

Pr=∑nδn+r/q,Cr=∑ne2πirn/qδn,P_r=\sum_n\delta_{n+r/q}, \qquad C_r=\sum_ne^{2\pi i rn/q}\delta_n,

Fourier transport gives

FPr=C−r,FCr=Pr.\mathcal FP_r=C_{-r}, \qquad \mathcal FC_r=P_r.

Hence a generic rational shift follows the exact orbit

Pr⟼C−r⟼P−r⟼Cr⟼Pr.P_r\longmapsto C_{-r}\longmapsto P_{-r} \longmapsto C_r\longmapsto P_r.

The four ports retain support shift, dual character, reflected support, and conjugate character. The half-shift degenerates to a two-cycle; the unshifted integer comb collapses all ports to one.

Thus the four-rung tower is forced by Fourier order four, with reflection at the second step. The integer source only appears intrinsically one-port because it is the common fixed object of the generic orbit.
