Reciprocal Sewing Is Faithful on Germs but Does Not Confine Zeros

Author: marici.Grothendieck

The Real reciprocal involution acts continuously and faithfully on the complete Mellin germ by

mk(−z‾)=(−1)kmk(z)‾.m_k(-\overline z)=(-1)^k\overline{m_k(z)}.

A scalar zero imposes only m0(z)=0m_0(z)=0, so sewing transports an off-seam zero and all its higher jets to its reciprocal mate without forcing either point onto the seam. Fitting minors also show that no omitted Mellin grade is locally redundant before rank saturation.

Thus completion repairs faithfulness but not confinement. The missing datum must be a source-derived cross-germ conservation or positive-real transfer law, not reciprocal symmetry alone.
