2588 — Theta Finite-Part Extraction Is Not Positive

Finite-part extraction is not order preserving. For a>0a>0 and arbitrary real cc,

Fε=ε−a+cF_\varepsilon=\varepsilon^{-a}+c

is strictly positive for every sufficiently small ε>0\varepsilon>0, while

FP⁡ε↓0(Fε−ε−a)=c.\operatorname{FP}_{\varepsilon\downarrow0} \left(F_\varepsilon-\varepsilon^{-a}\right)=c.

Therefore positivity of every regulated theta bulk, even together with regulator universality, cannot orient or prevent zeros of the relative Euler finite part. A surviving RH argument must carry a source-derived coupled order or conservation law on the bulk and its typed boundary current.

Scope

This closes a proof architecture; it makes no claim about the actual sign or zeros of ζ\zeta or Ξ\Xi.
