Prime Vacuum Cocycle Explains the Three Tate Regularity Levels

The bilateral local current has a canonical global probe: its excitation of the local valuation vacuum. For

bp,k(z)=Jp,k(z)ep,0,b_{p,k}(z)=\mathcal J_{p,k}(z)e_{p,0},

one has

∥bp,k(z)∥2=2p−kk2cosh⁡(2kℜ(z)log⁡p).\lVert b_{p,k}(z)\rVert^2 = \frac{2p^{-k}}{k^2} \cosh(2k\Re(z)\log p).

On the critical seam this yields the exact three-level split: the primitive cocycle is distributional, the square cocycle is Hilbert but has non-absolutely-summable scalar amplitudes, and the connected tail is absolutely summable. The result also corrects an earlier ambiguity: a block direct sum, an additive restricted-product generator, and a vacuum cocycle have different norms and cannot be denoted by the same untyped prime sum.

The next construction is a restricted-product rigging retaining the primitive and square cocycles as explicit boundary coordinates and coupling them to the archimedean incidence before scalar augmentation.
