3224 — Asymmetry Lifts the Forbidden Cubic

For quartic asymmetry

λh=λ+δ,λx=λ−δ,\lambda_h=\lambda+\delta, \qquad \lambda_x=\lambda-\delta,

the opposite-portal branches remain exactly isospectral, but their cubic expansions are

gHLL(+)=2v(3λ−p)+O(δ2),g_{HLL}^{(+)}=\sqrt2v(3\lambda-p)+O(\delta^2),

and

gHLL(−)=−2v(3λ−p)2pδ+O(δ2).g_{HLL}^{(-)} =-\frac{\sqrt2v(3\lambda-p)}{2p}\delta+O(\delta^2).

Thus the negative-branch zero is a symmetry-slice rigidification, not a completion-safe selection law. The robust nearby result is an amplitude and rate hierarchy.
