3423 — Holomorphy and Massive-Vector Exchange Do Not Fix the Threshold-Completed Portal

Claim

The selected CP-even real-norm portal is a Kähler D-term, not a holomorphic superpotential operator. Standard (N=1) superpotential nonrenormalization therefore protects the wrong operator class. Exact (N=2) removes the extra portal, while the breaking needed to restore it reopens an independent coefficient.

The strongest minimal D-term repair, classical elimination of one Higgsed vector current channel, gives

λnx=−2qnqxqϕ2v2.\lambda_{nx}=-\frac{2q_nq_x}{q_\phi^2v^2}.

It fixes the tree-level sign after charge orientation is declared and cancels the gauge coupling. It does not fix the magnitude: (v=1) and (v=2) give (-2) and (-1/2) at unit charges. The allowed Kähler boundary

cK=2qnqxqϕ2v2c_K=\frac{2q_nq_x}{q_\phi^2v^2}

cancels the exchange contribution exactly.

Classification

Massive-vector exchange is a source-derived tree-level sign selector, not a complete Deutschian explanation of the portal. A progressive successor must derive the charge orientation, fix (q_\phi v) in the physical clock, and forbid the additive D-term boundary through a Ward identity or complete UV matching theorem. RG-basin survival and a calibrated physical16 instrument remain separate gates.
