3729 — The Full Local Tate Observer Makes Every Finite Valuation Area Exactly One

For the adjacent valuation cells

f0,p=1Zp,f1,p=1pZp,f_{0,p}=1_{\mathbb Z_p}, \qquad f_{1,p}=1_{p\mathbb Z_p},

the local Tate observer gives

Zp,s(f0,p)=(1−p−s)−1,Zp,s(f1,p)=p−s(1−p−s)−1.Z_{p,s}(f_{0,p})=(1-p^{-s})^{-1}, \qquad Z_{p,s}(f_{1,p})=p^{-s}(1-p^{-s})^{-1}.

Since both cells take value one at the origin,

(ϵp∧Zp,s)(f1,p∧f0,p)=1.(\epsilon_p\wedge Z_{p,s})(f_{1,p}\wedge f_{0,p})=1.

Thus every finite place has exact unit boundary area when the complete spectral Tate observer is retained. The earlier zeta-one volume collapse and prime-square counterterm are the correct static-Haar projected chart; the full Euler tower already packages their cancellation.

The nontrivial scalarization obstruction moves to the real place. Its canonical infinitesimal dilation two-cycle has area proportional to

sf(0)Z∞,s(f),s f(0)Z_{\infty,s}(f),

which for the Gaussian is the gamma-completion factor times ss. Reciprocal archimedean sewing is therefore the next live gate.
