3730 — The Metaplectic Sign Has a Four-Capability Minimal Instrument

Detection theorem

The metaplectic sign is formally observable from the joint packet:

1. phase-lifted endpoint operation;
2. coherent selector preparation;
3. conditional coupling;
4. complementary selector readout.

A two-level selector prepared in $|+\rangle$, acted on by controlled $z$, and read in the $X$ basis distinguishes $z=I$ from $z=-I$ exactly.

Deleting any one capability restores blindness. The packet is therefore single-deletion minimal within this interface model. Mathematical sufficiency does not establish a magnetic realization of any missing executable port.
