The Five Integral Smith Packets Form a Two-Plus-One-Plus-Two Oriented Port

The five exact integral Smith packets have the source classifier $A_+,A_-,B,C_+,C_-$. An endpoint-orientation character splits $A$; an ordered-tail orientation character splits opposite-polarity $C$; the equal-polarity through stratum $B$ remains unsplit.

The classifier is bijective with the exact Smith packets and has multiplicities eight, eight, eight, four, and four. Taking 2-adic valuations erases the two stratum-local orientation bits, producing the three classes $A,B,C$.
